Long Beach Park Days

Deciding to homeschool brings up lots of questions and issues for new and veteran homeschoolers alike. Whenever someone asks for advice, the first thing I say is find a park day.  Naturally, we know our kids are going to look for friends, but we forget that homeschooling parents need support, as well.  Finding and committing to a weekly park day helps answer questions from local educational resources to navigating feelings of doubt and uncertainty.  It helps to talk to parents who have BTDT.
